By next “Pappy Hunting” season we hope to have a list of every store in every state that receives an allotment. So far, we have three — GA, FL, SC. Also, we are building an app that will enable you to search and find every location (bar, restaurant or liquor store) that has it.

Also, we will keep you abreast of every Pappy Tasting available.

If you’re in the Atlanta area check out this event. The first Big Pappy event in Georgia as far as I know. The owner, Brandon Lewis extended a gracious invitation for me to attend as his guest, but unfortunately I could not make it. But it sounds like a great time if you are in the area:

Anyway, if you can go please tell them Chris from Pursuit of Pappy sent you. Maybe, you’ll get some extra large pours.

Now here are the top 4 Pappy articles/posts for the week. Enjoy!

Why the last WWII combat pilot dumps bourbon in Pearl Harbor with the Japanese

(“The whiskey is really the water of life,” Martinez said. “For the Japanese, the highest honor is to pour whiskey, American whiskey, as a part of home. To pour it on the stone that’s in Shizuoka and here at the USS Arizona Memorial, as it falls into the water it’s a way of extending the hand of friendship, forgiveness and peace.”)
